My name is Jeff Thomas, and I am a follower of Jesus Christ. When I was thirteen years old, God stirred my heart through the power of the Holy Spirit. I repented of my sins, and I asked Jesus to save me. I have not always been faithful in my walk with God, but He has always been faithful to me. He has blessed me with a godly wife. Marty and I have been married for over twenty-four years. God has also blessed us with beautiful children. Our first daughter, Hillary, passed away of a brain tumor at the age of four months in 1996. Since that time, God has given us Francie, Jacob, Katie Beth, and Jonah, as well. Our children bring us much laughter and enjoyment in this life. God has also blessed me with the call to preach the gospel. I currently serve as the pastor of Start Baptist Church. I have the awesome responsibility to lead my church family in the direction God has chosen for us to go, but I am surely blessed to call Start Baptist Church my fellowship family! God is so good! I thank God each and every day for the life I have in Jesus Christ. Jesus gives me full and eternal life through His life, through His death, and through His resurrection. Jesus said in John 10:10, "I have come that they may have life, and have life to the full." I believe His words, and I am living life to the full because of Jesus!
