"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging." Psalm 46:1-3
Are you in a place where you feel all alone? Are you in a place where you feel like the mountains are crumbling on top of you? Maybe your struggle is in a relationship with a spouse, with a child, with a friend, or with a co-worker. Maybe your struggle is with your finances. Maybe your struggle is within. Maybe your struggle is spiritual. Remember this: God is our refuge! God is our strength! God is our ever-present help! When you pray to Him, He will listen and He will speak to You. When you open His Word, He will speak to You. Over and over again in His Word, He tells us that He will never leave us. That feeling you have of being all alone is simply a feeling. The truth is that God is with you. He never promised us that life would be easy and void of hard times. He promised us He would be with us. He promised us His presence. An old song that I used to sing had a great message: "Sometimes He calms the storms, and at other times, He calms His child." I don't know which one God will choose to calm in your life, the storm or you. But either way, God's presence will be with you and will strengthen you. Believe that today! Claim that today!
