My hope is in You all day long!

"Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths.  Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."   Psalm 25:4-5

If you were like me, this morning you prayed to God, our loving Father, and were filled with hope that only He can give.  We know that we belong to the King and that He has given us everything we need to make it through the day.  The Holy Spirit in us gives us the wisdom to make godly decisions, and He gives us the physical strength to complete our daily tasks.  But somewhere along the way, the enemy is waiting.  He is prowling around like a lion, waiting to devour its prey.  And if we are not careful, the hope that we are filled with in the morning can quickly fade by noon.  We get distracted.  We get bombarded.  We get tied up.  We begin to ask, "Where is that hope that I had this morning?"  That is why I love Psalm 25:4-5.  David asked God to continually show him the right path.  He asked God to continually teach him truths.  And David stated, "My hope is in you all day long!"  David's hope wasn't just a "good morning" hope.  David's hope was an "all day" hope!  You and I need to place our hope and our trust in God all day long.  Don't let distractions or business steal your hope!  Don't let Satan bombard you with lies or half-truths!  You can be filled with the Holy Spirit, and He can give you truth and hope that lasts throughout the day!  All you have to do is ask for it:)
