I love Wednesday night services at my church! I love studying God's Word, and I love praying for others who have needs. Over the past couple of weeks, I have had several people call and ask me to pray for them...to pray for their families...to pray for their jobs...to pray for their health. What an awesome blessing and responsibility we have as Christ followers to pray for one another! What an awesome blessing and encouragement it is to know that people are praying for you when you need it! Intercessory prayer is vital for the Christ follower. In John 17, Jesus prayed for His disciples and for all believers. He interceded for them to the Father. In Romans 8:34, we see that Jesus continues to intercede for us to the Father. Paul interceded for the churches, as well. I love Paul's prayer for the church at Ephesus in Ephesians 3:14-21. He prayed for the power of God and the love of God and the Spirit of God to flow through their hearts and minds. Paul wanted them to know the love of Christ completely, and he wanted them to glorify God. Today, if you are reading this, please accept this prayer. It is a prayer for you! May God strengthen you with His strength. May God overwhelm you with His love. May your faith be increased today by the power of the Holy Spirit within you. May you know the love of Christ fully today. May your life be an honor and a glory to God the Father through Jesus Christ. Amen!
