God Created

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.  Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.  There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.  Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."   Psalm 19:1-4

A couple of days ago a thunderstorm rolled through our community.  As I was driving down the road, I looked to my right and saw a beautiful, light blue sky with puffy, white clouds.  Then I looked to my left, and I saw a dark blue sky, with charcoal-colored clouds forming.  And in front of men, tucked in the middle of it all, I saw a beautiful rainbow shining through.  God created!  In Genesis 1:1, we read, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."  Then we turn to Psalm 19:1-4, and we read, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.  Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.  There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.  Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."  As beautiful as it was for me driving down the road in Start, Louisiana, it was just as beautiful somewhere on the other side of the world.  God created it all!  His creation proclaims His awesome power and creativity!  Sure the thunderstorm can be dark and maybe even scary, but that doesn't mean it is any less beautiful or magnificent.  Sure the ocean waves can be fierce and uneasy, but that doesn't mean they are any less beautiful or magnificent.  All of God's creation, the heavens and the earth, has His fingerprints all over it!  God created!  God created the sunrise and the sunset.  God created the oceans and the deserts.  God created the mountains and the valleys.  God created the planets and the stars.  And His creation speaks of His creativity and wonder.  You and I are parts of His awesome and wonderful creation! God created!  Believe it!  Claim it!  Live it!
